Birth Work Mentorship

Are you a new doula looking looking for some guidance? Or maybe you're interested in doula work, but aren't totally sure about where to start. Either way I'd love to help and share some of my time earned expertise with you.
Mentorship will look different in every situation and with every person. In our free one hour initial consultation (virtual or in person) we'll discover the meeting point between the support your looking for and what I can offer.

Examples of support may include:
On call phone support during your births.
Post birth debriefing sessions.
Setting goals and manifesting success in your practice.
One on one training sessions for supplementary birth worker skills.
Help navigating the world of trainings and certifications.
Diving deep into the ethical dilemmas and challenges of

birth work in our culture.
Support in identifying and setting boundaries to avoid burnout.
Exploring the spiritual and sacred aspects of birth work.

Wendy's Qualifications

I have over a decade of birth work experience including attendance at over 70 births in hospital and home settings. I have worked as an independent doula, a homebirth midwife's assistant, a prenatal class instructor, a perinatal bodyworker (LMT), and a student/volunteer organization based doula.
I was originally trained through DONA and maintain a current certification with The Matrona. My work is informed by insatiable consumption of books and podcasts about birth and my participation in a rich list of local and national trainings including:
